About MOPS project
MOPS is a new approach to education that allows learners to study at the convinent time and place using individual mobile devices. Learning happens through exchange of problems and solutions among all members of educational process. The problems can be formulated using build-in camera, microphone, virtual keyboard, smart calculator, etc. Using such approach helps in reviewing old material as well as learn new. About Catalyst Initiative
Education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) is key to social innovation and economic opportunity. This is true for students who become STEM professionals, and for all students who graduate in the 21st century. But literacy in STEM subjects is lagging, and skilled STEM students are in short supply. HP launched the Catalyst Initiative to get to the root causes of the challenge, and to explore the future of STEM education. (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-information/social-innovation/catalyst.html)
